Kiwanis Manor was built in 2006. It is an apartment complex with 75 affordable suites; 42 for independent seniors and 33 for assisted living, plus one guest suite. Each one bedroom unit is approximately 520 sq.ft., with additional storage space. There are no studio suites in the Manor.
Meals and housekeeping are available for a limited number of residents at an extra cost. The four-storey structure also offers elevators, an on-site beauty salon, underground parking, and pay laundry facilities on every floor.
The Housing Society operates and manages the independent living suites, while Vancouver Coastal Health Authority funds and manage the assisted living residential suites under the Independent Living BC Program.
